The Book of 3 John

John writes to Gaius to communicate his joy that he walks in the truth (4).  He shows this by sending others in a manner worthy of the Lord (5-8) and Demetrius also lives a true testimony.  Diotrephes, however, shows by his selfishness that he is condemned (9-11) and has never seen God.[1]
